78-Year-Old Man Fatally Struck on Laurel Drive [Salinas, CA]

Salinas, CA (October 23, 2021) – On Friday morning, a 78-year-old male pedestrian was fatally struck on Laurel Drive.

Investigating officers said the victim was walking in the crosswalk near Granada Avenue when a red Toyota Prius struck him.

The Toyota driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.

Officers do not consider drugs and alcohol to have been factors in the accident.
