1 Hospitalized after Merced Pedestrian Crash on Glen Avenue and 23rd Street
MERCED, CA (January 31, 2021) – Saturday morning, a 77-year-old man suffered injuries in an accident on Glen Avenue and 23rd Street.
The authorities responded to the crash at 7:33 a.m., said the Merced Police Department. Moreover, it happened on Glen Avenue and E. 23rd Street.
When the officers arrived, they located the victim lying in the road.
Thus, responders airlifted him to an area hospital with injuries considered as moderate to major.
Meanwhile, the vehicle driver remained at the scene and helped with the officers. At this time, the authorities do not suspect drugs or alcohol as factors in the crash.
