Marysville Man Arrested after DUI Crash on Interstate 5 in Everett

 
Everett, WA (April 14, 2021) – One person sustained injuries when a 76-year-old man believed to cause a four-vehicle crash on Interstate 5.
 
Subsequently, police arrested the older man from Marysville.
 
According to reports, the 76-year-old man driving a Dodge Ram pickup truck struck a couple of vehicles while heading northbound on Interstate 5, just north of Everett.
 
A trooper then pursued the erratic driver when he veered in the southbound lanes of Interstate 5 and hit more vehicles, driving one of them off the road.
 
Moreover, the trooper said the truck was going 90 miles per hour.
 
Authorities said the truck hit four vehicles, including a Marysville city bus. One person suffered minor injuries.
 
The driver will be booked into the Snohomish County Jail on DUI and eluding charges.
