Waco Three-Vehicle Crash Results in Fatality

Waco, TX (May 17, 2024) – 71-year-old Jane Shwarz was killed following an Interstate 35 collision Wednesday night.

The authorities responded to the three-vehicle crash scene at 9:27 near the intersection with MLK Jr Boulevard.

Investigators believe a 1999 Ford F-150 struck the outside retaining wall. However, while the F-150 was coming back into traffic, it was struck by a Freightliner that was rear-ended by a 2015 Hyundai Sonata.

The Kia Sonata passenger, Shwarz, was killed in the collision.

Officers are investigating the cause of the collision.
