Fatality in Accident on Claremont Street
Filcrest, WA (December 01, 2021) – On Sunday, a 70-year-old man sustained fatal injuries in a DUI pedestrian accident on Claremont Street.
The authorities responded to the fatal crash at about 6:15 a.m. to the 700 block area.
A woman driving a 2007 Dodge Magnum was eastbound when her car struck a parked vehicle and pushed it into the victim.
The woman’s car was sent across the street while the parked car rested in some bushes.
Right away, the emergency responders took the victim to Tacoma General Hospital with serious injuries. Unfortunately, he died on Monday.
Meanwhile, the paramedics rushed the female driver to the hospital. Officers took the driver’s blood for impairing substances.
Officers are investigating this fatal crash.
