SANTA ANA, CA (September 6, 2022) – Sunday night, a 7-year-old boy died in a pedestrian crash on Rosita Street and 7th Street.
 
According to the Santa Ana Police Department, the incident happened at around 8:50 p.m. Also, the collision occurred at the intersection of Rosita Street and 7th Street.
 
Reports revealed that a southbound vehicle struck the 7-year-old boy for still unknown reasons.
 
Moreover, responders confirmed that the victim succumbed to his injuries and died at the scene.
 
Furthermore, the vehicle driver remained at the scene to cooperate with the authorities.
 
Meanwhile, officers asked anyone with information about the crash to call the Santa Ana Police Department’s Collision Investigations Unit at 714-245-8216 or the department’s Traffic Division at 714-245-8200.
