Injuries Reported in Hesperia Accident on Seventh Avenue and Wells Fargo Street
HESPERIA, CA (April 22, 2021) – Wednesday afternoon, seven people suffered injuries in a multi-vehicle crash on Seventh Avenue and Wells Fargo Street.
The incident occurred at 4:02 p.m. on Seventh Avenue and Wells Fargo Street.
Upon the first responders’ arrival, they found a white four-door sedan with front-end damage. They spotted the vehicle near an overturned black sedan and a silver pickup truck.
Meanwhile, several witnesses said that the impact ejected an adult male from the overturned vehicle. Thus, he sustained life-threatening injuries.
Also, they revealed that the white sedan with five occupants traveled at a high rate of speed. Then, the white sedan failed to yield at the stop sign at Wells Fargo Street.
Also, the San Bernardino County Firefighters came to the scene. Then, they reported three immediate patients and four delayed. Thus, two medical helicopters and five ground ambulances were called to the scene.
Helicopter Mercy Air 2 transported one patient to Loma Linda University Medical Center. Meanwhile, Mercy Air 22 flew another patient to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center.
At this time, the Hesperia Sheriff’s Station continues to investigate the cause of the crash. They urged anyone with information about the incident to contact 760-947-1500.
