Injuries Reported in Hemet Multi-Vehicle Accident on Ramona Expressway near Lincoln Avenue

 
HEMET, CA (February 16, 2023) – Wednesday afternoon, seven people sustained injuries after a traffic crash on Ramona Expressway near Lincoln Avenue.
 
The incident happened at around 1:50 p.m. on the Ramona Expressway, near Lincoln Avenue.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident involved multiple victims who were trapped inside the wreckage.
 
Moreover, Riverside County Fire Department rushed to the scene and extricated two parties who were trapped in separate vehicles. Then, paramedics airlifted one person to a hospital with major injuries. Then, responders transported a second victim with major injuries and five more patients with moderate injuries. Responders took them to a regional trauma center via ground ambulance.
 
At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
 
Meanwhile, the incident remained under investigation.
