69-Year-Old Woman Dies in Vehicle Crash on Highway 216 [Visalia, CA]

Visalia, CA (February 05, 2022) – On Friday, a 69-year-old woman lost her life in a vehicle crash on Highway 216.

The fatal collision took place at about 3:30 p.m. in the area of El Rio Drive.

Investigators said the 69-year-old woman was driving an SUV.

However, a vehicle driven by a 21-year-old  driver struck the woman’s SUV and pushed it into the back of a parked semi-truck.

Responding officers extricated the 69-year-old woman from her vehicle and later died at the hospital. 

Meanwhile, the 21-year-old sustained injuries in the accident and is cooperating with the investigation.
