67-Year-Old Dennis Welch Killed in Bicycle Crash in Bellmead [McLennan County, TX]

McLennan County, TX (July 19, 2024) – 67-year-old Dennis Welch was killed in a bicycle crash in Bellmead on Sunday.

Investigating officers said the involved driver is a 14-year-old with a 10-year-old passenger in the vehicle.

Officers detained and charged the teen driver. 

Moreover, further investigation made the authorities to arrest 40-year-old Erika Ramirez Martinez of Bellmead with charges of two counts of state jail felony endangering a child and one count of criminally negligent homicide. 

The authorities also arrested 22-year-old Lisett Andrea Najaera of Bellmead with a charge of one count of contributing alcohol to a minor.

Troopers are investigating this fatal crash.
