1 Dead in Chula Vista Car Accident on Fifth Avenue

 
CHULA VISTA, CA (September 25, 2019) – A 66-year-old man died after his pickup truck crash on Fifth Avenue on September 24.
 
The man crashed his pickup truck into a residential yard after suffering an apparent medical emergency. Reports revealed that the man traveling north in the 900 block of Fifth Avenue lost control of his Toyota Tacoma shortly before 1:00 p.m.
 
As the truck drove across a southbound lane and a sidewalk, it then struck a fence and two vehicles parked in a driveway in front of a house.
 
Upon the officers’ arrival, they located the unconscious and unresponsive man inside the pickup. Medical responders transported him to a trauma center where he later died to an apparent medical condition of unknown type.
 
Authorities also ruled out intoxication as a factor in the collision.
