66-Year-Old Driver Injured in Bridgeport Way T-Bone Collision [University Place, WA]

University Place, WA (December 2, 2022) – On Tuesday, a pickup truck driver sustained injuries following a Bridgeport Way t-bone collision.

The University Place deputies responded to a reported robbery at the Walmart on Bridgeport Way at 11:17 a.m.

When they arrived, the suspect vehicle was heading towards University Place. Officers located the vehicle on Bridgeport Way and 27th Street West. They attempted to stop the vehicle but it drove south on Bridgeport Way.

Paramedics responded to the scene and the rescuers extricated the two suspects from their vehicle. Both suspects were rushed to the hospital with serious injuries.

Meanwhile, the 66-year-old pickup driver was up and walking after the collision, but he was also rushed to a hospital for a medical condition.
