Driver Arrested in San Francisco Bicycle Crash
San Francisco, CA (May 24, 2024) – A 65-year-old woman was injured following a Broadway pedestrian accident on Broadway Wednesday afternoon.
The authorities responded at 3:15 p.m. to the bicycle vs pedestrian crash at the intersection with Columbus Avenue.
The bicyclist, a 36-year-old man, allegedly struck the woman after he ran a red light at the intersection.
As a result, the woman sustained a cut on her head and abrasions on her shoulders and arms. She was taken to a hospital in stable condition.
Officers arrested the bicyclist. Any charges against him are still being determined pending an active investigation.
