STANISLAUS COUNTY, CA (August 10, 2020) – Late Sunday morning, a 63-year-old man died in a motorcycle crash on Milton Road.
The incident happened around 10:50 a.m. on Milton Road north of Dunton Road, about four miles north of Woodward Reservoir.
According to police reports, a 63-year-old Patterson man rode a 2008 Harley-Davidson motorcycle north on Milton Road. However, he lost control and drove off the west side of the road. Afterward, the rider fell down a grassy embankment and crashed into a barbed-wire fence. The impact threw away the rider from his bike and left him with fatal injuries.
When the authorities arrived at the scene, they declared him dead.
Meanwhile, the authorities ruled out drugs and alcohol as factors in the crash. Officer Thomas Olsen, spokesman for the CHP Modesto area office issued a statement. “It’s unknown at this time if the rider died from injuries sustained or suffered a medical episode prior to the collision,” he said.
