Tacoma, WA (August 09, 2021) – On Sunday, a 63-year-old man and a 66-year-old woman lost their lives in South 72nd Street crash.

The accident happened early in the morning at the intersection with Yakima Avenue.

Unfortunately, the man and the woman died at the scene.

The authorities arrested the 21-year-old driver. They booked him into Pierce County Jail for two counts of vehicular homicide and one count of vehicular assault. His 51-year-old passenger incurred a broken bone.
