Grandmother Dies in Bell Gardens Hit-and-Run Crash
Bell Gardens, CA (April 8, 2024) – Janet Young of Bell Gardens was killed following a Gage Avenue hit-and-run crash Thursday night.
It was about 7:30 p.m. when the 62-year-old grandmother was fatally hit while crossing the road after buying food from a taco stand.
The victim’s family gathered near the area of the collision on Sunday to hold a memorial.
“She was in the crosswalk, she shouldn’t have been hit and they should have stopped. They should have stopped,” says Young’s daughter Ramona Moreno.
Moreno is among those who are pleading for the driver or anyone who has more information about this fatal crash to contact the authorities.
Moreover, investigating officers said they were searching for a dark-colored sedan that was traveling eastbound when they hit Young. Officers said the suspect vehicle continued to drive instead of stopping to help.

How Can A Legal Claim Help Janet Young’s Bereaved?

They provide financial relief for the relatives of those who have passed away.
