60-Year-Old Ron Lusk Dies in State Route 240 Collision [Richland, WA]

Richland, WA (April 13, 2024) – 60-year-old Ron Lusk was killed and others were injured following a State Route 240 collision Thursday night.

It was about 9:16 p.m. on April 11 when the fatal collision happened at milepost 33.

WSP officers said a car was westbound in the eastbound lanes of the freeway when it struck another car head-on. 

Responding officers said the wrong-way driver, Ron Lusk, died at the hospital.

Meanwhile, the two adult passengers and two minors in the other vehicle were transported to a hospital.

Troopers closed that eastbound lane on SR 240 while they investigated the collision.
