60-year-old Man Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash on Clinton Avenue and Weber Avenue [Fresno, CA]

1 Dead in Fresno Pedestrian Accident on Clinton Avenue

 
FRESNO, CA (September 14, 2020) – Saturday night, a 60-year-old man died in a hit-and-run crash on Clinton Avenue.
 
Moreover, the officers responded to the scene at about 7:20 p.m. on Clinton Avenue and Weber Avenue. They came after receiving a report of a vehicle versus pedestrian crash.
 
Upon their arrival, they located a 60-year-old man and a toddler in the southbound lanes of Weber Avenue, just north of Clinton Avenue.
 
Some passersby stopped and helped the man and the uninjured child. Afterward, responders transported the man to an area hospital. Unfortunately, he later succumbed to injuries at the hospital.
 
Meanwhile, reports revealed that the involved driver fled the scene before authorities arrived.
