Young Pedestrian Hospitalized after Collision with Car at Bus Stop near Begonia Road
VICTORVILLE, CA (September 24, 2018) – A young boy was injured Monday afternoon following a pedestrian crash on Cobalt Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident took place at about 2:15 PM at a bus stop near Begonia Road. The boy had just been dropped off at the location by a Victor Elementary School Bus when he ran across the road and entered the path of a northbound white Honda Accord.
The victim suffered lacerations to his elbow and knee as a result of the collision. He was transported to the Loma Linda University Medical Center for medical evaluation and treatment. Updates on his current condition were not immediately available to the public. Meanwhile, the woman driving the Honda stopped at the scene to cooperate with investigators.
