6 Hurt in Lancaster Accident on 20th Street
LANCASTER, CA (August 26, 2020) – Saturday afternoon, six people sustained injuries in a crash on 20th Street in Lancaster.
The crash between a sheriff’s patrol car and another vehicle occurred at 1:47 p.m. at 20th Street and Avenue L.
Los Angeles County Fire Department Dispatch Supervisor Art Marrujo revealed that three were hospitalized. Responders flew a child to Northridge Hospital Medical Center and another person was airlifted to Antelope Valley Hospital.
Deputy Morgan Arteaga of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Information Bureau revealed that one of the hospitalized was the deputy. However, her injuries were said to be minor.
The authorities continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
