SANTA CLARITA, CA (February 17, 2021) – Tuesday morning, six people suffered injuries in an accident on 5 Freeway near Calgrove Boulevard.
 
The first responders came to the scene at about 9:35 a.m., revealed Jonathan Matheny, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Fire Department. Moreover, the incident happened on northbound 5 Freeway near Calgrove Boulevard, north of the Newhall Pass.
 
“One vehicle went down an embankment approximately 50 feet,” Matheny added.
 
As a result, one adult and five children suffered minor injuries in the collision, said Fire officials.
 
At this time, the cause of the crash remains unknown. Thus, the authorities continue to investigate the accident.
