Injuries Reported in Shasta County Auto Accident on Highway 299 near Ingot
SHASTA COUNTY, CA (July 28, 2021) – Tuesday morning, six people sustained injuries in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 299 near Ingot.
According to the California Department of Transportation, the incident happened at around 11:30 a.m. Moreover, it occurred on Highway 299, just east of Ingot.
Reports revealed that two vehicles were involved in a collision for still unknown reasons.
Furthermore, responders rushed to the scene and extricated one person trapped inside a vehicle and in critical condition.
Meanwhile, officials confirmed that five more people sustained minor injuries in the crash.
Moreover, the incident blocked all lanes of Highway 299. All lanes have long since reopened.
