YAKIMA COUNTY, WA (July 10, 2024) – Saturday night, 6 people suffered injuries in a crippling rollover crash on Interstate 82 near Milepost 39.

The incident happened just after 8:30 p.m. on Interstate 82 near milepost 29, 2 miles east of Union Gap city limits.

According to reports a GMC Yukon had rolled over several times. 

Officials reported that two adults and four juveniles were injured in the crash. The severity of their injuries and their current conditions are not yet known. 

Also, the authorities confirmed that drugs and/or alcohol played a role in the incident, though the exact cause remains under investigation. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
