Injuries Reported in South Los Angeles Auto Accident on Trinity Street and Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard

 
SOUTH LOS ANGELES, CA (November 13, 2022) – Saturday night, six people suffered injuries in a crash on Trinity Street and Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard.
 
According to reports, the crash happened around 8:20 p.m. on Trinity Street just north of Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard in Historic South Central.
 
As hundreds of attendees filled the street carnival, a white Porsche Cayenne drove through the street. Then, it crashed into a barricade which prompted scores to flee. As a result, six people, ages 30 to 50, all suffered injuries. Then, responders took them to the hospital with life-threatening wounds.
 
“It is a blessing that no one got severely injured,” Sgt. Robert Leary said.
 
LAPD Officer Lizeth Lomeli confirmed that the Porsche driver fled the scene westbound on Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard. Then, it turned southbound on Wall Street.
 
At this time, the authorities haven’t made any arrests. Also, they haven’t disclosed any description of the motorist. However, officers confirmed that they found the Porsche.
 
Due to the limited information, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
