Six People Hospitalized after Vehicle Crashes into Coffee Shop near Travis Avenue
FAIRFIELD, CA (March 21, 2019) – Six people suffered injuries Thursday afternoon after a car crashed into a Starbucks on Travis Air Force Base.
As per reports, the incident happened at about 12:15 PM. Due to unknown circumstances, a car drove into the coffee shop at the base Mini Mall.
A total of six people, including the driver, suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Emergency responders transported three of the victims to Northbay Medical Center in Fairfield. The other three were rushed to David Grant USAF Medical Center.
Base officials believe that the driver did not intentionally crash the car into the building. An investigation is ongoing to determine the events that led to the collision. Additional information will be released following the conclusion of the investigation.
