59-Year-Old Motorcyclist Killed in DUI Crash on Midland Road [Poway, CA]

Poway, CA (March 26, 2022) On Friday evening, a 59-year-old motorcycle rider died in a DUI crash on Midland Road.

Officials say that Astha Rajyaguru was driving impaired around 10:30 p.m. on Midland Road near Midland Elementary School in the Old Poway area.

Reports say, Rajyaguru driving north in a sedan crashed into a parked motorcycle, eventually killing the male rider.

Moreover, sheriff’s officials say that sedan rear-ended the parked vehicle just north of the intersection with Somerset Road.

Authorities pronounced the 59-year-old man dead on the scene, no information on the victim is currently available.

Meanwhile, officials arrested Rajyaguru, and was booked into jail.
