Oak Harbor, WA (October 16, 2024) – A 58-year-old male rider was killed in a Monkey Hill Road collision Sunday afternoon.

The three vehicle crash happened on October 13 north of Oak Harbor.

WSP officers said two cars were traveling south when the first car failed to yield while making a left turn.

A northbound motorcycle was forced to swerve into the oncoming lane to prevent from colliding with the first car but struck the second vehicle.

Immediately, the rescuers rushed the injured rider to Whidbey Health where he succumbed to his injuries.
