Man Killed after Motorcycle Loses Control near Highway 78

 
OCEANSIDE, CA (March 16, 2019) – A 58-year-old man lost his life early Saturday morning following a motorcycle crash on El Camino Real. Authorities did not disclose the identity of the victim.
 
According to the Oceanside Police Department, the incident happened shortly after 2:00 AM. The victim lost control of his motorcycle and crashed near Highway 78.
 
Emergency responders found the motorcyclist on the ground, suffering severe trauma. Despite life-saving efforts, the victim succumbed to his injuries.
 
It is unknown whether or not alcohol played a role in the fatal crash. Anyone who may have witnessed the incident is asked to call the Oceanside Police Department’s Major Accident Investigation Team at (760) 435-4498.
