58-Year-Old Man Killed, 1 Injured in Car Crash on River Road near 78th Street [Puyallup, WA]

1 Dead and 1 Injured in Puyallup Car Crash

 
PUYALLUP, WA (February 3, 2020) – A man died and another got injured in a car crash on River Road on January 30.
 
According to reports, the 58-year-old male was driving a blue Hyundai when he pulled out in front of a Dodge Ram Pickup.
 
Troopers and medics arrived on River Road near 78th Street around 9:20 p.m. There, they found the wrecked vehicles.
 
The 58-year-old Hyundai driver from Puyallup died on scene. The pickup driver, a 25-year-old male Oregon resident was taken to the hospital for further treatment.
 
The initial investigation revealed that the Hyundai turned left onto River Road from a lounge parking lot when he was struck by the northbound pickup.
 
Authorities shut down River Road for around 3 1/2 hours for the cleanup and investigation. The road has since reopened.
