1 Person Killed in Riverside Auto Accident on Railroad Avenue
RIVERSIDE, CA (February 1, 2023) – Monday afternoon, a 58-year-old man died in a two-vehicle crash on Railroad Avenue.
The incident happened at around 2:40 p.m. on Railroad Avenue.
According to the Riverside Police Department, a 2007 Scion sedan veered into the eastbound lanes. Then, it rear-ended a garbage truck that was parked in the area,
Moreover, authorities confirmed that the 58-year-old male driver of the sedan succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Also, the garbage truck driver did not sustain serious injuries in the collision.
Furthermore, officers do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
