Driver Arrested in De Soto Deadly DUI Crash
De Soto, MO (September 13, 2024) – 55-year-old James McAnally of House Springs had lost his life following a DUI crash on Highway 30 Wednesday afternoon.
It was about 5:30 p.m. on September 4 when the deadly traffic accident happened near Byrnes Mill Road.
46-year-old Jaymie Brown, also of House Springs, crossed Highway 30 while driving a 2006 Chrysler Town and Country and drove into the path of James McAnally.
The Harley-Davison struck the passenger side of the Chrysler and McAnally was thrown from the motorcycle.
Immediately, McAnally was rushed by Big River Ambulance to Mercy Hospital South where he was declared deceased 2:39 p.m. the following day.
Brown did not sustain injuries from the collision. The authorities booked her at the Jefferson County Jail.
