Washington Avenue South Semi-Truck Crash Kills 50-Year-Old Scooter Rider
Kent, WA (June 09, 2021) – On Tuesday, a 50-year-old scooter male scooter rider died in Washington Avenue South semi-truck crash.
The fatal crash took place at about 2 p.m. on West Meeker Street.
Officers said the man on the scooter was seen weaving in and out of traffic.
At the same time, a semi-truck turned onto Washington Avenue South.
Unfortunately, the scooter rider did not see the big rig and crashed with it.
Reports said the victim talked with Puget Sound Fire and Medics after the fatal incident. However, officers said the victim later succumbed to his injuries and died.
