50-Year-Old Byron Gonzalez Fatally Struck on Highway 33 [Stanislaus County, CA]

Stanislaus County, CA (March 9, 2024) –  50-year-old Byron Gonzalez was killed in a Highway 33 pedestrian accident Thursday morning.

It was about 5 a.m. when the deadly collision unfolded near McCracken Road in Stockton.

Responding officers declared Gonzalez deceased at the scene.

CHP officers said a Nissan pickup driven by a Stockton resident on Highway 33 struck Gonzalez. Troopers located the vehicle damaged at the scene.

Meanwhile, investigators said drugs or alcohol did not play a role in this accident.

No arrests were made in connection with this accident.
