Two People Hospitalized after Crash on Mopac in Austin

Austin, TX (June 9, 2023) – Friday morning, two people sustained injuries in a 5-vehicle crash on Mopac.

The crash happened at approximately 8:59 a.m. on June 9 at 500 S. Mopac Expressway, northbound. 

Eight persons were involved in the crash, and three additional patients were being evaluated by medics, according to ATCEMS.

Two adult patients were transported to Seton Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

No additional information is immediately available.
