Sonoma Auto Accident Injures 5 and Prompts Helicopter to Respond

SONOMA, CA (December 20, 2022) – Monday night, five people were rescued from a ravine after a rollover crash in Sonoma.

According to reports, the Jeep drove on a dirt road when it fell into the ravine about 399 feet. As a result, all victims sustained major injuries.

Meanwhile, firefighters used ATVs to get to the scene since the area was difficult to access.

Also, the helicopter worked on the scene for 10 minutes to complete the rescue operation due to fog in the area.

Meanwhile, the helicopter came at Providence Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital at 8:29 p.m.

Also, reports confirmed that two of the victims are children. Meanwhile, responders took another victim to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek.

“More information will be available in the morning as the scene is chaotic and the investigation has just begun,” CHP added.
