5 Hospitalized in Phoenix Auto Accident on 43rd Avenue and Baseline Road

 
PHOENIX, AZ (June 16, 2021) – Tuesday afternoon, five people suffered injuries after a rollover crash on 43rd Avenue and Baseline Road.
 
According to Phoenix Police Department, the incident happened at around 1:30 p.m. Moreover, it occurred at the intersection of 43rd Avenue and Baseline Road.
 
Reports revealed that a sedan and an SUV collided at the intersection, causing one of the involved vehicles to roll over.
 
Furthermore, officials said that the male driver of the red sedan fled the scene on foot after the crash. The man went to a hospital on his own.
 
Moreover, responders transported a 25-year-old woman who is 12 weeks pregnant, to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
 
Meanwhile, paramedics transported the three occupants of the SUV, a 40-year-old woman, a 24-year-old woman, and a 17-year-old girl to a hospital. All of them suffered serious injuries.
 
Also, the events leading to the crash is under investigation.
