5 Hurt and 1 Detained near Marsh Creek Road in Multi-Vehicle Accident

 
DISCOVERY BAY, CA (March 15, 2019) – One person went to jail while five others sustained injuries in a multi-vehicle accident on Wednesday night.
 
Authorities received reports of the crash around 11:51 p.m. First responders arrived to the scene on Bixler and Marsh Creek Road.
 
Meanwhile, the East Contra Costa Fire Protection District said that one vehicle went down a water filled embankment. Furthermore, another car suffered significant damage.
 
Furthermore, a helicopter flew one person to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek. According to officials, five victims were hospitalized due to the extent of their injuries.
 
In addition, authorities transported the suspect to the Martinez Detention Facility around 4:30 a.m. No further details have been given at this time.
