Palm Desert, CA (April 1, 2022) – Friday evening, five people sustained injuries in a crash on Varner Road and Avenue 38.

The three-vehicle crash in Palm Desert happened just before 6 p.m. on April 1, east of Cook Street.

The collision involved three vehicles with five people injured.

CAL FIRE confirmed that one person had to be extricated from one of the vehicles.

Moreover, four people suffered serious injuries, one had moderate injuries.
