Five People Hospitalized after Three Vehicles Collide near McCormack Lane

 
COSTA MESA, CA (January 19, 2019) – Five people were injured late Saturday evening following a three-car pileup on Fairview Road. The identities of the victims were not immediately disclosed.
 
According to the Costa Mesa Police Department, the incident occurred near McCormack Lane, at about 11:23 PM.
 
Two of the three involved vehicles were possibly street racing at the time of the collision, as per witness accounts. A vehicle then hit a sprinkler power box in the center median before rolling over.
 
Emergency crews arrived at the scene and rushed five people to a local hospital for treatment of moderate injuries. Further updates on their current medical conditions were not provided.
