EDINBURG, TX (July 30, 2024) – Sunday afternoon, 5 people suffered injuries in a startling car crash on 12th Street and Ebony Avenue.

The crash happened at 11:30 p.m. on 12th Street and Ebony Avenue.

According to reports, a car went off the road and collided with the north wall of an H-E-B store.

Reports revealed that a red car failed to yield at a stop sign. Then, all five people in the vehicle were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

“For the safety of our Partners and customers, the store on 1212 S. Closner will be temporarily closed today,” said Linda Tovar, H-E-B Director of Public Affairs. “We apologize for the inconvenience, and we are working to reopen soon.”
