Injuries Reported in Riverside Accident on 91 Freeway and La Sierra Avenue
RIVERSIDE, CA (February 7, 2022) – Sunday morning, five people sustained injuries in a wrong-way crash on 91 Freeway and La Sierra Avenue.
According to the City of Riverside Fire Department, the incident happened at around 1:31 a.m. Moreover, it occurred on the westbound Riverside (91) Freeway at La Sierra Avenue.
Reports revealed that a wrong-way vehicle collided with another vehicle on the westbound lane of the freeway.
Moreover, firefighters rushed to the scene and extricated trapped people inside the tow vehicles. Then, responders transported three people with critical injuries and two people with minor to moderate injuries to an area hospital for treatment.
