Five Hospitalized after a Golf Cart Crash on Miller Road, Suspect Arrested
Scottsdale, AZ (June 14, 2020)– Sunday morning, five unidentified individuals sustained injuries in a Golf Cart crash on Miller Road. Police arrested the at-fault car driver, a 22-year-old Robert Gandara.
The crash happened at around 2:30 a.m. on June 14. Dispatched officers responded and located the golf cart and a vehicle on the scene.
Reportedly, Gandara was heading North on Miller Road when he ran into the back end of a golf cart carrying five people, four women and one man, near Chaparral Road.
As a result, medics transported four people to a local trauma centre in serious condition, but not life-threatening. One person sustained minor injuries and is expected to be okay. They were still taken to the hospital for evaluation.
Moreover, the owner of Arizona Party Bikes reminded everyone to have the full certificate of insurance, as well as your vehicle for hire permit available to either show your passengers or the police if something like this happened so your rights are protected.
At this time, Gandara is facing multiple aggravated assault charges.
