1 Hurt in El Cajon Pedestrian Accident
EL CAJON, CA (March 19, 2019) – A 48-year-old man sustained injuries in a hit-and-run collision on March 17 on El Cajon street.
The collision occurred around 10:00 p.m. on Greenfield Drive near Lyons Lane. First responders arrived to the scene soon after.
Officials received calls regarding an eastbound gray sedan traveling on Greenfield Drive. The driver reportedly struck the 48-year-old man while he was walking across the street. However, the driver continued driving east and fled the area.
Furthermore, responders took the victim to Sharp Memorial Hospital with major injuries. There has been no update on his current condition.
As of this time, information about the driver remains unreleased. The CHP currently conducts an investigation to determine more details.
