47-Year-Old Woman Dies in Vehicle Crash on Pacific Avenue [Tacoma, WA]

Tacoma, WA (March 17, 2022) – On Tuesday, a 47-year-old woman died in a vehicle crash on Pacific Avenue.

Officers responded to the crash scene at about 9:35 p.m. in the 9600 block area.

The authorities were trying to catch a vehicle that was recklessly driving. That is when the vehicle struck another car. 

Officers said a 47-year-old woman riding the car lost her life at the scene. Her 48-year-old husband who was driving the car sustained injuries. The emergency responders took him to the hospital. 

Moreover, a 38-year-old man who was driving the car the officers were trying to catch and his 29-year-old female passenger also sustained injuries. The emergency team took them to a hospital.

Officers added that two bus shelters on Pacific Avenue were damaged due to the incident.
