1 Dead in Oakland Pedestrian Crash on MacArthur Boulevard
OAKLAND, CA (December 22, 2020) – Sunday night, a 46-year-old woman died in a hit-and-run accident on MacArthur Boulevard.
An SUV hit the woman just after 8:00 p.m. in the 10200 block of MacArthur Boulevard. The incident took place in the city’s Foothill Square neighborhood.
As the woman walked in the road outside a crosswalk, a silver SUV traveled west on MacArthur Boulevard. Then, the SUV continued driving after the crash.
The authorities declared her dead at the scene. Her identity is being withheld by the authority.
At this time, the authorities haven’t disclosed any description of the driver. Furthermore, they haven’t clarified whether drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
