Suspect Driver in Hit-and-Run Crash on 81st Street Wanted

Los Angeles, CA (March 5, 2024) – A 46-year-old man was killed following an Avalon Boulevard collision late Sunday evening.

The fatal collision happened at around 10 p.m. near the area of 81st Street in Florence.

Officers said the man was crossing the street eastbound in an unmarked crosswalk when a southbound car struck him.

Investigators said the suspect’s vehicle was last seen driving southbound on Avalon Boulevard.
