Pickup Truck Driver Killed in Highway 70 Crash
Oroville, CA (July 10, 2021) – On Friday, a 45-year-old man died in Highway 70 crash.
The fatal crash happened at about 9:30 a.m. at the Clark Road intersection.
Officers said a Chevrolet truck slammed into a Payless Supply vehicle while the Payless vehicle approached the light and about to a stop.
Unfortunately, the pickup truck driver died at the scene. On the other hand, driver of the Payless vehicle was not injured in the crash.
Meanwhile, it is unknown if drugs and alcohol were a factor in the fatal accident.
CHP said Highway 70 reopened Thursday afternoon.
