1 Killed in Collision on Bayless Avenue
St. Louis, MO (August 23, 2024) – 45-year-old Antonio Green of St. Louis was killed in an Interstate 55 accident early Thursday morning.
It was about 12:40 a.m. when the collision happened on the northbound highway at Bayless Avenue.
Troopers said the victim was standing in the far right lane of the freeway when he was hit by a bigrig whose driver failed to see him.
Sadly, Green, was declared dead at the crash scene.
The big rig driver, 35-year-old man from St. Louis, was not injured. His big rig sustained moderate damage
Troopers are investigating this collision.
