1 Dead in Bloomington Pedestrian Accident on 10 Freeway and Cedar Avenue
BLOOMINGTON, CA (February 23, 2021) – Saturday night, a 43-year-old man died in a pedestrian crash on 10 Freeway and Cedar Avenue.
The incident happened at around 7:17 p.m. on 10 Freeway, west of Cedar Avenue. According to reports, a 33-year-old Riverside man drove a 2008 Jeep Wrangler west on 10 Freeway. Then, the Jeep struck an unidentified 43-year-old Lake Elsinore man walking in the westbound lanes of 10 Freeway.
The impact of the crash left the pedestrian with fatal injuries.
At this time, the authorities haven’t determined why the pedestrian was strolling in the lanes.
