Rider Dies after Crash with Pickup Truck Pulling Horse Trailer on Highway 76 in Bonsall
BONSALL, CA (October 19, 2019) – A 43-year-old San Bernardino man was killed in a motorcycle crash Saturday night in Bonsall.
The crash happened around 6:15 p.m. along Highway 76 at Sweetgrass Lane.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a Chevrolet Silverado pulling a horse trailer was entering the intersection when it crashed into a Harley-Davidson Street Glide.
Paramedics rushed the rider to Palomar Medical Center, but the victim died on his way to the hospital.
The driver of the Silverado, a 24-year-old Hemet woman, was not injured in the crash. Her two passengers, a 25-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman, also survived the crash without injuries.
CHP officials are still investigating the crash. Neither drugs nor alcohol were considered to be a factor.
